China is an important country with a large population and its economic power. It is becoming more and more important for the world economy with high growth ratios in recent years. Turkey must have healthy relations with China. However, the atrocities the world is witnessing in East Turkistan are not acceptable. Turkey must work towards a proper resolution to the agonies of the people in East Turkistan, with whom we share the same values. China, on the other hand, must not let the Western countries exploit the conflict in their own interests.
